I want Helsinki to grow along existing rail links, even on top of metro and train stations. This is what is being done in Puotila, Herttoniemi and Pasila, for example. \ud83d\ude83<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With smart construction we can save more of the local nature, where we can appreciate it. Access to nature is really important for our everyday well-being. \ud83c\udf32<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s why I want to conserve as much nature as possible, while ensuring that there is enough housing for current and future Helsinki residents, so that the cost of housing doesn’t go through the roof. \ud83d\uded6<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
